R Dist Comp Michael Barnes presided over the Regular Meeting of the Consistory, which was held on Thursday, 12th May at the Guildford Masonic Centre. A total of 25 members, visitors and guests were in attendance to see 8 Companions admitted to the Second Grade of the Order. The President was assisted by the Officers of the Consistory in an excellent ceremony, and all the candidates later expressed their delight at the manner in which they had been received into the Second Grade.

This being the Election Meeting, Dist Comp Louis Keats was voted President-Elect by the companions and Comp Ray Hussey was re-elected Treasurer; both members will be invested at the installation meeting on Thursday, 27th October 2011.

21 members and guests later enjoyed a pleasant meal at the Festive Board.
